Wheat powdery mildew is a common disease that can affect wheat plants at all growth stages, causing damage to leaves, leaf sheaths, stems, and even the panicles. The most noticeable symptom is a white, powdery coating on the infected areas. As the disease progresses, this white layer turns grayish or light brown, and small black spots—resembling pinheads—may appear on the affected tissues.
There are three main types of wheat rust: stripe rust, leaf rust, and stem rust. These diseases primarily attack the leaves but can also affect the leaf sheaths, stems, and panicles. The severity of rust outbreaks in autumn or spring is closely linked to factors such as summer, autumn, and spring rainfall, the amount of pathogen present during winter, and the cultivation area of susceptible wheat varieties. Generally, heavy rains in autumn and spring, along with large areas of susceptible crops and high pathogen levels, lead to more severe rust infections. Conversely, dry conditions or limited host availability result in milder cases.
Puxing is a highly efficient, low-toxicity, and low-residue fungicide that is readily absorbed by plants and transported within them. It offers long-lasting protection against wheat powdery mildew and rust, including stripe rust, leaf rust, and stem rust. Puxing not only prevents the disease but also helps in eradicating and treating existing infections through foliar application. For early-stage control, it is recommended to use 50 grams of Puxing per mu, mixed with 45 to 60 kilograms of water, or diluted 1000 to 1200 times, and apply it through spraying on the plant foliage. Regular monitoring and timely application are key to effective disease management.
Polybutyleneadipate-co-terephthalate PBAT
PBAT, a thermoplastic biodegradable plastic, is a copolymer of butanediol adipate and butanediol terethylphthalate. It has the properties of PBA and PBT. It has good ductility and elongation at break, as well as good heat resistance and impact performance. In addition, it has excellent biodegradability and is one of the most active biodegradable materials in biodegradable plastics research and market application.
