Scientists used the ATAC-seq technology to read the "two-dimensional code" in the chromatographic "switch" state and found that the "switch" in the chromatin has a binary change during the fate transition. The discovery came from the research group of the Institute of Biomedicine and Health, Guangzhou Institute of Biomedicine and Health, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in the process of stem cell induction. Yan Duanqing said that this discovery reveals for the first time the dynamics of chromatin structure during somatic cell reprogramming and provides a good reference model for future research.
