Warm hatching of spring egg

The warm water incubation method is simple in equipment, easy in operation, uniform in egg temperature, low in cost and good in hatching effect. The method is:

Egg hatching method

The hatching method is divided into natural and artificial hatching. Natural hatching is a method of using a brooding hatching egg of a hen; artificial hatching is a method of artificially creating hatching conditions suitable for the growth and development of chicken embryos.

【equipment】

Choose a house that is dry and conducive to cold and warm, depending on the size of the hatchery. Using light galvanized sheet metal as a material, a double bed type water tank with a length of 150 cm, a width of 80 cm and a height of 28 cm was formed. Put 8 egg trays on each floor, and prepare sawdust (sawdust) as insulation material and gauze, quilts, etc. that cover the temperature of the adjusted egg.

【selection】

Choose eggs that do not exceed 7 days of storage, are of a moderate size, have a normal egg shape, have a clear egg end, and are clean without cracks.

【disinfection】

Before hatching, eggs were immersed in an aqueous solution of 0.1% benzalkonium chloride at 41°C for 3 minutes to kill harmful microorganisms on the eggshell.

【temperature】

Add hot water to the box and increase or decrease the thickness of the cover (gauze, single cloth, quilt) to adjust the egg temperature. Temperature is the primary condition for hatching and is the most important factor affecting the hatching rate. The optimum temperature for chick embryo development was 37.8°C and the hatching temperature was 37.3°C. When the outside temperature is high in summer, the incubation temperature can be reduced by 0.28°C.

【humidity】

The relative humidity in the incubator should always be kept at 53%-57%, and when it starts to hatch, it should be increased to about 70%. Whether the humidity is normal can be measured with a wet bulb thermometer.

[Italian]

Before hatching, the eggs were strictly controlled and eggs were rejected. Eggs were hatched three times on the 6th, 11th, and 17th days of incubation.

Egg turning

Eggs must be frequently turned during hatching, especially in the first week. Eggs are usually flipped every 2 hours and the turning angle is 90 degrees.

[chutting]

Since the embryonic lung function of the late hatching stage has already been established and sufficient oxygen is needed, there must be a certain space for the covering and the breeding eggs and the number of ventilations should be increased.
