Differentiation of sow's lactation power

Sow milking power is the most intuitive performance of the performance of breeding pigs. It is very important to the production efficiency of the pig farm. I have a few comments on my own experience:

Appetite during lactation, sows are more appetite, eat plenty of green juicy feed or full-priced diet, their daily intake of more than 6 kilograms, in the performance of the group as "mother lean", in general Such sows have better lactation.

The gilded sow’s weight gain during pregnancy is not significant, and shedding hernia during lactation is not obvious. Such a sow’s lactation power is not good enough.

Number of times of lactation and nursing time The number of milkings per day and night for sows with high milking power is 28-32 times, and the time for each time of milking is more than 20 seconds. The number of sows with low milking power is low, and the time for feeding is low. Also short.

Breasts If the sows have full breasts, obvious intervals, and shiny and elastic nipples, piglets rarely “sucking teats”, such sows generally have high milk yields; if the front and rear nipples have a “twinning” phenomenon, common piglets have teats in their mouths. Sleeping, or the piglets licking around from time to time to look for teats, indicates that the sow's lactation levels have begun to decrease. If the whole litter of piglets “pigs up”, it means that the sow’s milk production is very low.

In general, sows with thick shoulders, thick hips, and obese hips have a low level of lactation, while sows with “single back ridges” perform much more.
