Lei Lilan

Laili Lan, Lalia is a maid Laeli from the Roman mythology who is serving the goddess of the goddess La Li. The Chinese name is literally translated as "Lei Li Lan." Lei Lilan is native to South America and is a close relative of Cattleya sp.. Its flowers are more colorful than Cartland, and the variety of colors is so much that it is difficult for other orchids to plant. Its flower posture is even lighter and brighter, as beauty is far from the world as refined, charming and unconventional.

Lei Lilan's plant appearance is very similar to that of Cattleya sp., both of which belong to the monoaxially-grown single-leaf single-leafing orchids with narrow elliptic leaves. The pedicel is drawn from the tip of a mature false bulb. Petals and zygomatic petal are narrow and long. The lip is trumpet-shaped. The flowers can reach up to 12 centimeters. More flowery, strong plants can open two to eight flowers, flowering spring.
In the United States, Japan, and other countries, the cultural atmosphere of Lei Lilan is very popular. In general, as long as there is a well-lit and well-ventilated cultivation place, regular watering can be used. The cultivation of this kind of orchid requires fertilization. It can use nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium in the sprout growth phase to balance the liquid fertilizer. When the environmental conditions are good, the appropriate amount of organic fertilizer can help the plants grow more smoothly.

The purple lip L. purpurata in this genus is often used for artificial mating with the large-wheeled flower of the genus Cadillac because of its bright colors. Usually it is hoped that the purple lip of the orchid can be brightly colored. The suit is inherited to the offspring.
