Second, trim
1, young tree pruning
In accordance with the principle of "mainly light shearing, shaping and putting equal emphasis on results and promoting early results".
(1) Sparse layer sparse: one layer of main branch leaves 3~4, choose to stay and clean up the dense branches that affect the growth of the backbone, clean up 1-2 each year, and strive to clean up after 2 years.
(2) Free-spindle shape: 3 to 4 small main branches are selected for each year, and the distance between the main branches is about 20 cm. The dense branches should be properly removed.
2, cut off diseased branches, worm branches
For diseases and pests that overwinter in the trees, combined with the winter cuts to completely cut off pests and branches to burn or bury them deeply, the general garden general spray and tree maintenance will sterilize and disinfect, and the damage in the following year can be significantly reduced.
3, scrape rough old bark
The old bark and trunk cracks of fruit trees are often lurking with a large number of wintering germs and pests. Scrape the rough bark, apply the tree maintenance general and bury the scraped bark deeply, which has a good control effect on various diseases and insect pests, and can even completely eliminate certain pests.
