The principle of this method is based on the Hall effect theory. When measuring thickness, a small steel ball is placed on one side of the test material and the probe is placed on the other side. Rotate the bottle and the steel ball receives the magnetic force of the probe while moving. The magnetic induction sensor measures the distance from the tip of the probe to the ball to give the wall thickness of the plastic bottle. This instrument is characterized by no damage to the sample and easy measurement. However, the concave and convex portions of the plastic bottle are not easy to measure, and the customer's need for different precision control of different parts and different samples cannot be fully satisfied.

Third, the slice method test thickness:

This is the original method of measuring wall thickness. Subject to technical limitations at the time, in the early testing of plastic bottles, many laboratory technicians shredded the bottles and tested their thickness values ​​with a spiral micrometer and calipers. The cost of this method is very low, but it is considered that the error is large and the test efficiency is low, which is a way of being gradually eliminated.
