Base fertilizer application. Cotton must be re-used with high-yield basal fertilizer, basal organic-inorganic application should be coordinated, is conducive to improving fertilizer efficiency. The amount of basal fertilizer accounted for 60% to 70% of the total amount of fertilizer. The application time of basal fertilizer can be combined with deep ploughing and turning into the soil in autumn and winter to prolong the decomposition time of organic fertilizer and increase the efficiency of phosphate fertilizer. It can also be applied in spring soil preparation.
Top dressing application. Timely topdressing is very important for the stable production and high yield of cotton. Topdressing should be based on nitrogen fertilizer combined with phosphorus and potassium fertilizers. The topdressing is mainly in the seedling stage, bud stage and flowering stage, and the total amount of topdressing accounts for 30% to 40% of the total amount of fertilizer applied. Fertilizers at the seedling stage are mainly fast-acting nitrogen, and other fertilizers may be topdressed according to conditions such as seedling conditions and fertility. Generally, the fields with poor growth potential, low basal fertility, and weak fertility should be followed up with Miaofei and promote early-onset trees. Generally, urea or high-nitrogen compound fertilizer is applied at 5 to 10 kg/mu, and the ditch can be applied and then covered with soil. For high-yielding cotton fields with high fertility and sufficient basal fertility, seedlings may not be top-dressed, but cultivating measures may be adopted to promote root development and cultivate strong seedlings. Bud stage can be followed by a small amount of nitrogen fertilizer, such as urea 2.5 to 5 kilograms per mu, which is conducive to the stable bud period, and helps to coordinate the relationship between vegetative growth and reproductive growth. The method of top dressing during the period of budding budding is better than deepening. When applying this method of fertilization, pay attention to far away from the cotton plant so as not to damage the root and affect normal growth.
The growth of cotton enters the flowering and bolling stage. The amount of topdressing fertilizer accounts for about 60% of the total amount of topdressing fertilizer. Generally, it recovers urea from 7.5 to 10 kilograms of urea, 5 to 7.5 kilograms of diammonium phosphate, or 15 to 20 kilograms of high-nitrogen compound fertilizer. The topdressing time depends on the specific circumstances, and the cotton field with low fertility and growing potential will be applied when the bottom of the cotton plant at the flowering stage ends with 1 or 2 bells.
Late-stage cotton fertilizer is used to prevent premature detoxification, multi-junction awamori, and increase the boll weight. It depends on the soil fertility and growth potential. Generally, Mu recovers standard nitrogen fertilizer from 5 to 6 kilograms, and the time is from the end of July to the beginning of August.
