Take Shimeji mushroom as an example: the seed production is completed from mid-July to the end of August, and the inoculation can be done in early September. The mushrooms can be grown in early October, and the mushroom picking period can be extended to the end of March of the next year, during which there are four tide mushrooms. An ordinary mushroom shed of 200 square meters can feed 10,000 kilograms and produce about 12,500 kilograms of fresh mushrooms. Calculated at 1.8 yuan per kilogram, the output value is about 22,000 yuan. Excluding 7,000 yuan, the gross income is 15,000 yuan.
Second crop: Coprinus comatus
Seed production will be completed from August to the end of October. Save the strains until April of the next year. In early April, after the last crop of Pleurotus ostreatus or Shimeji mushrooms are harvested, the waste materials are transported outside the shed to expose for 2-3 days, crushed, and then the waste materials are mixed with the new materials at a ratio of 4:6, and then bagged and inoculated. A 200-square-meter mushroom shed can use 1,400 kg of the first crop of waste, saving 1,400 yuan. It takes about a month for the bacteria to develop. In early May, after the mycelium is hair, the bag can be taken off and covered with soil. Mushroom picking starts in mid-to-late May and ends at the end of June. Three tide mushrooms can be produced in the meantime. The 200-square-meter mushroom shed can cover 3,500 kilograms of material and produce 3,000 kilograms of fresh mushrooms. The output value is more than 10,000 yuan, and the gross income is 7,000 yuan after excluding 3,000 yuan.
The third crop: Straw mushroom
Seed production was completed from early April to the end of May, and straw mushroom planting began in early July. The raw material can be 60% wheat straw plus 40% fungus chaff, mixed with an appropriate amount of superphosphate. The 200-square-meter mushroom shed can use 1,250 kg of the second crop of waste, saving 1,200 yuan. After the raw materials are prepared, spread them in the border between the sheds with a thickness of about 20 cm, and then inoculate. The mushrooms will appear after about 10 days, and 2 tidal mushrooms can be harvested in this crop. Generally, it can produce 6-7.5 kilograms per square meter, and the output value of 200 square meters can reach 5000 yuan per kilogram at 4 yuan.
The three crops can produce a total of 16,500 kilograms of fresh mushrooms, and the total output value can reach 37,000 yuan. Excluding the investment of 1,000 yuan in the construction of 200 square meters of mushroom sheds and the investment of 10,000 yuan in materials, the annual gross income can be 26,000 yuan.
