Introduction to the eight major control steps of the filter press

There are many types of filter presses, but the operation steps of all kinds of filter presses are always similar. The following are the eight steps to be aware of when operating the filter press. Let's take a look at the operation of the filter press.

1. Check the filter plate placement sequence before operation. Check the sealing condition around the filter cloth when it is used repeatedly, whether it is entrained with mud, and ensure that the filter cloth is free of wrinkles and damage. (Processing method: wash the filter cloth frame clean and filter the flat) ;

2. The rated pressure of the cylinder is 16-18 MPa, and it is not allowed to disassemble and adjust at will. When the cylinder is working, it is strictly forbidden to stand behind;

3. It is forbidden to stop the piston to the end or stop in the middle of the maneuvering process;

4. When working, the feed pump return valve should be opened a small amount according to the situation (feeding pressure should not exceed 0.6Mpa), so as to avoid excessive feed pressure;

5. When cleaning the machine, do not spray the tap water on the circuit board or the hydraulic station to avoid short circuit of the filter press or misalignment of the hydraulic system;

6. Turn on the power supply and work normally. Press the “press” button to lock the large nut to the proper position to keep pressure (do not lock it completely, reserve 1mm space), to avoid difficulty opening when retreating and discharging the slag;

7. After completing the above procedure, the feed pump can be turned on for pressing;

8. Before loosening the filter plate to remove the sludge, the filter plate should be tightened first. After loosening the nut, press the “release” button to return to the set position, turn off the motor, remove the sludge, clean the filter cloth, and enter the next step. Work cycle.
