Fruit tree nitrogen fertilizer is not the right practice

First, ammonium nitrate cannot be applied. When the fruit tree grows, it is easy to absorb the nitrate nitrogen fertilizer. If the ammonium nitrate fertilizer is applied, the nitrate ions absorbed by the fruit trees are excessively consumed, which may cause accumulation poisoning.

Second, it is not possible to use water to apply ammonium bicarbonate. Ammonium bicarbonate is extremely unstable and volatile. Therefore, whether the ammonium bicarbonate is used as the base fertilizer or the top dressing, it should be applied in the case of wet orchard, and the soil should be covered immediately after application. If the soil is particularly dry, it should be applied after watering.

Third, ammonium sulfate cannot be applied repeatedly. In the orchard from acidic soil to slightly alkaline soil, if the ammonium sulfate is continuously applied, the acidity of the soil will increase, causing soil compaction, affecting the root activity of the fruit tree, and causing poor growth of the fruit tree, resulting in a serious decline in fruit yield and quality.

Fourth, it is not possible to water immediately after applying urea. The nitrogen contained in urea can be absorbed and utilized by the roots of fruit trees after being converted into ammonium carbonate by the action of soil microorganisms. If water is applied immediately after urea application, nitrogen is easily lost. Therefore, whether urea is used as base fertilizer or top dressing, it should be watered after 5-7 days of application.
