The Dragon World is a type of petal orchid, characterized by twisted, leaf-shaped spirals with a pointed tip and crystalline texture. Its leaf buds are also spiral-shaped and feature a crystalline appearance. The leaves range from 6 to 8 in number, measuring 20 to 30 inches in length and 0.5 to 0.7 inches in width. They are thick, with a leaf thickness more than double that of ordinary orchids.
Each stem produces a small mother-of-pearl flower, while the large flowers have multiple petals, sometimes splitting into two with water-like flaps. The petals can reach up to 10–15 in number, and each inflorescence typically bears 3–5 flowers that bloom normally. This orchid is notable for the crystalline emulsification on the flower stem, full arrowhead flowers, blooming petals, patchwork patterns, and the simultaneous presence of mother and daughter flowers, all contributing to its stunning beauty and pleasant fragrance.
