According to the investigation, the company purchased 16.25 tons of melamine milk powder on March 16 this year. Fortunately, the company is stopping production to repair the equipment. The batch of milk powder has not yet flowed into production and sales.

The police investigation revealed that the batch of milk powder was sold by Wang Lijie, sales manager of Guangxi Baqi Trading Co., Ltd., at a price that was significantly lower than the market price, and sold to Zhou Jihua, manager of Chongqing Jixida Food Co., Ltd. The Chongqing Sinotrans Storage and Transportation Company warehouse leased Guangxi Qiqi Trading Co., Ltd., and among the 10.475 tons of remaining milk powder seized, some melamine exceeded the standard. These milk powders come from the Inner Mongolia Zhaite Banner Weilisi Dairy Co., Ltd.

Subsequently, the project team went to Guangxi, Inner Mongolia and other places to investigate and collect evidence, and investigated the purchase and sale of powdered milk from Guangxi Baqi Trading Co., Ltd. and Inner Mongolia Zha special flag Weilisi Dairy Co., Ltd., and cut off the channels through which the tainted milk powder flows to the market.
